Have you ever dipped a lemon in baking soda? – Here I show you why you should and what you can clean with it!
It can happen quickly when you’re cooking. You don’t pay attention for a second and the food is already overcooked. This gives unsightly stains on the stove top and you know directly that you can scrub later first properly to get the stove clean again.
But this does not have to be! Because you can clean your stovetop effortlessly, if you know how! All you need is half a lemon and some baking soda or baking powder. Put the baking soda in a bowl, cut the lemon in half and dip the cut side of the lemon into the baking soda. After that, a lot of the baking soda should stick to the lemon. Now take this lemon and rub it over your stove top. Squeeze the lemon a bit more to get more of the lemon juice out.
The mixture of baking soda and lemon should foam visibly and audibly. Once you have rubbed the entire burnt-in stain, you only need to let the mixture soak in for about 20 minutes. After that, simply take a damp cloth and wipe away the residue. Everything burned in is now directly dissolved and can be wiped away really effortlessly.
So why should you have to scrub burnt-on stains on the stove in the future when it can be so easy? Try this cleaning trick definitely once with you and let yourself be surprised by the result!
